There is live music in the local pubs and hotel at the weekend and only occasionally during the week. Since the Fleadh a greater understanding and interest in Irish music has developed and the local Arvagh Ceoltas has new members, our family included. We hope to encourage anybody good with a guitar to start a sing song when we can, especially if we get good weather for a BBQ etc.

The Kilmore Hotel, in Cavan town was great entertainment every Saturday night. It's new club for Country & Western Dancing club opens every Saturday night from 10pm for dancing to the best country and western bands around. Admission is usally around €15 payble on the door. Strictly over 21's ID required.
