The N4 motorway offers easy access from the South-side of Dublin.  From the M50 take the M4, then the N4 to Edgeworthstown, where you turn right immediately after the Park House Hotel.  You then continue straight past the villages of Ballinalee and Aughnacliffe.  4 miles from Aughnacliffe towards Arvagh you will pass a large Lake- Lough Gowna on your right.  Lakeside Lodge is just around the bend on the left hand side with a lot of trees around it.

Alternatively take the N3 if you are coming from the airport, North-side of Dublin, travel to Navan, Virginia and before you enter Cavan town turn left at the roundabout and follow the signs for Arvagh via Ballinagh.  In Arvagh, turn left at the bank of Ireland and another left.  Take Aughnacliffe Road and you will find our house which is on the right one mile out, just before the lake, Lough Gowna.

Public Transport You can also come to us by rail or train but you must plan this well as the local bus to Arvagh has only a very limited service and finishes early, see timetable, 975 Whartons bus Cavan to Longford.

We will pick you up by car free of charge from our local town of Arvagh, Co. Cavan or Aughnacliffe, Co. Longford. There is a limited bus service to these towns.
